PSA's Adventure at the Zoo
18 June 2018
The latest PSA Insurance and ADAVB adventure was held on a cold and blustery day at the Royal Melbourne Zoo where attendees were treated to an exceptional experience.
The evening started in unique fashion as members partook in a close encounter with the opportunity to see and touch 2 different types of snake. The faces in the crowd showed many emotions as these beautiful creatures were taken around the room, from fear to excitement and the occasional selfie.

By now the blood was pumping and it was time for guest presenter John Cho to take attendees on a journey of prosthodontic complications and troubleshooting. John's expertise was extensive and his approach through which will assist attendees in diagnosing effectively to avoid future complications. The most telling aspect of John's presentation was his ability to portray his findings in resolving complications and how different approaches can lead to the same outcome as long as practitioners "respect the materials".

Following John we were fortunate to have a member of a recent Supporting Programs You Support (SPYS) Grant, Professor Andre La Gerche, to present about the National Registry for sudden unexplained cardiac deaths in Australian young people.
Andre was very powerful in his words and passion for a cause that affects so many families around Australia, learn more about this program here.
The night ended with a 2-course meal and plenty of networking as the darkness settled over Melbourne.
Stay tuned to be aware upcoming events from PSA Insurance and the ADAVB to make sure you don't miss out.
